He was subsequently a student at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1879-1883, from which he received the degree of Civil Engineer in 1883. Born-Staten Island, New York, November 24, 1861. Father- William Renshaw, born St. Louis, MO on Feb. 17, 1827, the son of William Renshaw and P. A. E. Klein. Mother- Emma Conine, born Baltimore, MD on Jan 23, 1835, the daughter of William C. Conine and Anne A. Maddox. Married (1st)- Lucy Jennings Price, in 1885; she was the daughter of Commodore Cicero Price, U. S. N., of Troy NY. Children: Howard Price, Paul, Alfred, Elizabeth Price. Lucy Price died in 1896. Married (2nd)- Lucy Braxton Hopkins, in 1899, the daughter of Lewis Neill Hopkins of Baltimore, MD. Children- Lewis Hopkins, Lucy Howard, Palmer C. Career- Civil Engineer; President of Federal Signal CO., of Albany NY. Died June 16, 1939 |
