Father- John Barham; Mother- Louisa [maiden name unknown]; No information on grandparents. Married- Bettie Patience Langhorne, daughter of Rev. Maurice J. Langhorne. Children- 1- Lulie Drew Barham; 2- Judge John Langhorne Barham. VMI Record: Entered VMI- Aug. 1, 1863; Dismissed Jan. 15, 1864 for excessive demerits. Civil War Service- Enlisted in Feb. 1864 as Private in Co. D of the 44th Va. Battalion. Later transferred to Private in Co. A of 13th Virginia Cavalry. Career- Bank President; Member of VA Constitutional Convention; Farmer. Died- Dec. 20, 1925 in Newsoms, VA. Buried in Portsmouth.
