Biography & Genealogy:	Madison Pitzer Deyerle, Class of 1860: Born- Nov. 25, 1839. Matriculated from Salem, VA. At VMI 2 years. Military Record: Private in militia company wich elected him Captain when it entered service as Company I (originally Company K), 28th Virginia. Died- May 14, 1862 after being Mortally Wounded in Action on May 5 and captured at Williamsburg. (Name "Dyerle" or "Dyesley" in some records.)
