Maternal grandparents- Henry [Crendson] and Sophia Garland. Marriage- none. VMI Record: Entered in 1857 and graduated in 1860. Civil War Record: 9th Virginia Cavalry; enrolling officer (North Carolina). Career: none. Immediately after the war he went to St. Louis and died shortly thereafter (sometime in 1865) of cholera.
