Biography & Genealogy:	James Macon Kincheloe, Class of 1858 (graduated 8 out of 19). Born- May 25, 1836. Teaching at Cleveland Academy, Bedford County, Tn. May have begun to study law in 1860. At VMI 4 years. Military Record: Unofficial sources say Drill Master, Camp Trousdale, Tn spring-summer 1861 then Adjutant, 17th Tennessee (possibbly state appointments). Died- August 26, 1861 at Bristol, Tn of typhoid fever. First buried there; body moved to Middleburg soon after war.
