Awarded the Navy Cross, the Distinguished Service Cross, the Silver Star with one oak leaf cluster, the Purple Heart, the Croix de Guerre with gilt star, the Fourragere, and the World War I Victory Medial with Aisne, Aisne-Marne and St. Mihiel clasps.U.S. Marine Corps.
