Biography & Genealogy:	Born on December 22, 1889. Matriculated on September 4, 1911 from Winchest, VA. Graduated on June 23, 1915. World War I Record: First Lieutenant, M.G. Battalion, 1st Division, A.E.F. Gassed, May 28, 1918, at Cantigny, and severely wounded in action, west of Soissons, and not released from Walter Reed Hospital until January 13, 1919. Permanently disabled. Higly commended for gallantry at Cantigny where he commanded his M.G. Company. Died on October 1, 1972.
