Biography & Genealogy:	World War I Record: First Lieutenant, 60th Infantry, 5th Division, A.E.F. Killed in action, October 14, 1918, in attack on Cunel, about 20 miles from Verdun, by sniper's bullet, while leading his company. He had gallantly fought at the head of his men at St. Mihiel and the Argonne.
