Battalion, C.S.A; in hospital 11 June-9 August 1862 (debility); unofficial source says he was wounded in the Second Battle of Manassas; Promoted to Captain Co. C. Dec 8, 1862; detailed as provost-marshal, Guinea's Station, Mar-Apr 1863; In hospital in Richmond, Feb-Mar 1864 (syphilis); paroled at Appomattox 1865. Career- Farmer, Lawyer. Died- Feb. 7, 1892. |
