Biography & Genealogy:	Walker John Elliot, Class of 1868: Born- September 24, 1847. Matriculated from Orange Court House, Va. At VMI 5 months. Military Record: Unofficial source says served as Pvt Company E, Col J.S. Mosby's Regiment Va Cavalry (43rd Battalion Va Cavalry). No official record of any non-VMI service found. Captured in Loudoun Company May 20, 1864. Held at Old Capitol Prison, DC; Ft Delaware, De. At VMI August or September 1864 to February 24, 1865. Post War Career: Farmer; public official. To California c1872. Married Matilda Robbins 1886. Sheriff. City Treasurer. Died- December 19, 1906 in Phoenix, Arizona.
