Biography & Genealogy:	William Nichols Owen, Class of 1868: Born- May 7, 1847. Matriculated from Liberty, Va. At VMI 3 months. Military Record: Probbably served as Corporal, Company A, 1st Virginia Reserves summer-fall 1864. Entered VMI January 2, 1865. With Corps in Richmond trenches until it disbanded April 2, 1865. Post War Career: Farmer; tobacconist. Died- February 11, 1920 in Elmira, New York. Buried Woodland Cemetery there.
