Biography & Genealogy:	Samuel Blake McConnico, Class of 1868: Born- May 20, 1848. Matriculated from Holly Springs, Ms. At VMI 7 months over 2 years. Military Record: Entered VMI May 31, 1864. With Corps in Richmond trenches. Left VMI and returned to Mississippi. Unofficial source says served as Aide-de-camp to Col J.C. Denis (Mississippi Reserve forces) and then joined Capt T. Henderson's Scouts, Lt Gen N.B. Forrest's command. Post War Career: VMI man at University of Mississippi 1865-66. Lived in New Orleans, Louisiana and in Honduras. Railroad agent. Died- December 18, 1928.
