Biography & Genealogy:	Greer James Micajah, Class of 1868: Born- October 27, 1847. Matriculated from Holly Springs, Ms. At VMI 7 months over 2 years. Military Career: Joined Corps May 31, 1864 at Carter's Farm camp. Reported for duty December 3, 1864 at Richmond. With Corps in Richmond trenches until it disbanded April 2, 1865. Post War Career: Criminal Court Judge (1883-1884), county attorney (1896-1897), Memphis, Tn. Trustee, University of Tennessee. Lawyer. Known to have kept diary, but its whereabouts unknown. Died- December 19, 1937 in Dayton, Oh.

The database currently includes the names of all enrolled students (both graduates and non-graduates) from VMI's opening in 1839 through the World War II era.
