Biography & Genealogy:	John Beverly Douglas, Class of 1868: Born- ca. 1848 in Williamsburg, VA. Matriculated from Richmond, VA. Military Record: Entered VMI Dec. 24, 1864, serving with the Corps of Cadets in the Richmond trenches; served as an engineer with the Trans-Mississippi railroad with his brother, who was chief engineer; surrendered as a Private, 4th Confederate States Engineers; paroled at Shreveport, Louisiana on June 7, 1865. Post War Career: Civil engineer for railroads. Died- ca. 1890 in Athens, Ohio.
