Biography & Genealogy:	Edwin Morris Brown, Class of 1868. Born- 20 October 1846 in Augusta County. Matriculated from Ft Valley, GA. At VMI 3 and a 1/2 months (1 October 1864- 10 January 1865). Military Record: With Corps in Richmond trenches. Left (AWOL) to join the army. Identification pure speculation, but he may have been the Sgt "E.M. Brown," (no unit shown) whose only record shows he was admitted to the hospital in Richmond on 2 March 1865 and given a 30-day medical furlough on 8 March 1865. Died- 25 April 1882 in Ft Valley, GA. Buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery there.
