Military Record: Enlisted in Capt R.M. Anderson's Company Virginia Light Artillery (1st Company Richmond Howitzers) as Private. Only records show on furlough July 1864 and on receipt rolls for clothing 3rd and 4th quarters 1864. Post War Career: Teacher, merchant. Democrat. Episcopalian. Died- October 14, 1919 in Knoxville, Tn.
