Biography & Genealogy:	David Chilton. Class of 1842. Genealogy: Born 1823. Father- Mark A. Chilton of Kanawha Co., West Virginia. Mother- Eloise Blackwood, also of Kanawha Co. Chilton never married. VMI record: non-graduate; he entered VMI on November 13, 1839 from Kanawha Co., WV and resigned on April 1, 1840 (no reason given in our records). No military service; no career. He moved with his parents to Missouri and died there in 1844.
