Biography & Genealogy:	George Woodson Logan, Class of 1867: Born- August 10, 1845. Matriculated from Loch Loman, Va. At VMI 1 1/2 years (entered as 5th year freshmen). Military Record: At VMI August 14, 1862 - January 15, 1864. Enlisted January 15, 1864 in Goochland Company for 3 years as Private, Company F, 4th Virginia Cavalry (some records show March 5). Captured May 24, 1864 at Wilson's (Cannon's) Warf, Charles City County in an attack on US fort. Exchanged November 1, 1864. On roll of paroled and exchanged POWs, Camp Lee December 17, 1864. Post War Career: Merchant; farmer. Died- November 29, 1926 in Salem, Va. Buried in East Hill Cemetery there.
