No information on either grandmother. Maj. James Arnold was Samuel S. Cook's legal guardian, but he was not a relative. Married- Mildred Anne Dawson, daughter of Lewis Dawson of Goochland Co. Va. Children- 1- William D. Cook; 2- Samuel L. Cook; 3- Ansolem T. Cook; 4- Sallie Cook Booker, who married J. W. Booker; 5- Ella Cook Long, who married John P. Long.
