May have been the Clarke County resident (listed as "Phillip T. Pendleton") whose only record shows him as 2nd Lt, County C, 11th Virginia Cavalry, captured at Mt Jackson March 5, 1865 (or March 2 at Waynesboro). Held at Ft Delaware, De. Released on oath June 15, 1865. Post War: Married Annie Ford, worked for Northern Pacific Railroad. Lawyer. Died- ca. May 1883 in Clarke County. |
