Biography & Genealogy:	Henderson Thomas Holcombe, Class of 1866: Born- June 25, 1846. Matriculated from Lynchburg, Va. At VMI 5 1/2 months. Military Record: Left VMI September 1863. Enlisted November 13, 1863 at Culpeper for war as Private, Capt T.J. Kirkpatrick's Company Va Light Artillery (Amherst Artillery). Wounded in action (right thigh) June 3, 1864 at Cold Harbor. Unofficial source says ordered to join Col J.S. Mosby's Regiment Va Cavalry (43rd Battalion Va Cavalry) just before end of war. No official record of such service found. Post War Career: Lived in Lynchburg. General manager; mercantile firm.
