Biography & Genealogy:	Haskins Creed, Class of 1866: Born- c1846? Matriculated from Mattoax, Va. At VMI 9 1/2 months over 3 years (repeated sophomore year). Resigned from VMI for health October 27, 1863. Military Record: Identification speculative, but may have been the "C. Haskins" who enlisted July 10, 1864 at Powhatan as Private, Company E, 4th Va Cavalry. Horse killed in action August 16, 1864 (paid $2,500 for horse). Absent sick fall 1864. Paroled at Appomattox. Died? No further records found.
