Walker Wood; 2- Hunter Wood, Jr.; 3- Hugh Nelson Wood; 4- Elizabeth Wood Barr, who married Roger Barr; 5- Grace Wood Chavanne, who married Edmund A. Chavanne. VMI Record: Entered VMI- July 18, 1862 as 3rd Classman (Sophomore); Declared a "War Graduate" as of May 12, 1864 standing ranking 11th of the 25 graduates, but continued to be a part of the Corps of Cadets until April 5, 1865.
