Biography & Genealogy:	Templeton Duncan D., Class of 1865: Born- c1847. Matriculated from New Orleans, La. At VMI 2 months. At Georgetown College (now University) spring 1861. Left school and joined 1st Va Cavalry. Absent sick late 1861. Discharged as underage and to go to VMI. Resigned from VMI March 1, 1862 (deficient in studies, health bad, only 15.) Re-enlisted July 1, 1862 at Richmond as Pvt, Company K, 1st Va Cavalry. Captured March 31, 1863 near Brentsville. Paroled for exchange. No further record found. Post War Career: Returned to Georgetown College but left in 1867 without degree. Died- ?.
