Biography & Genealogy:	Robert Marshall McClandlish, Class of 1865: Born- c1844. Matriculated from Petesburg, Va. At VMI 3 months. Military Career: Enlisted at Petersburg June 4, 1861 as Private, Company A, 12th Va for 1 year. Discharged January 31, 1862 to enter VMI. At VMI February 19-May 1862. Resigned and at Petersburg on June 17, 1862 enlisted for 3 years as Private, Company B, 13th Va Cavalry. In hospital (Danville) fall 1864 ("Debilitas"). In hospital (Petersburg) December 1864-March 1865 (syphilis). On US rolls of refugees and deserters April 1865, but probably Prisoner of War. No further records found. Died- ?
