Biography & Genealogy:	William Armistead Beckham, Class of 1865: Born- 23 February 1846. Matriculated from Culpeper County, VA. At VMI 1 year. Military Record: Pvt, 15th Virginia Cavalry. Captured at Edinburg on 9 October 1864 (some records show he was captured at Culpeper on 6 October). Held at Point Lookout, Maryland. Exchanged February 1865. Brother of Beckham, HC class of 1860 and Beckham, JM class of 1863. Post War Career: Farmer Died- May 1912.
