Biography & Genealogy:	Worthington Basil Spalding, Class of 1864-MS: Born- November 3, 1842. Matriculated from Lexington, Va. At VMI 3 weeks. Unofficial source says attended University of Maryland. Military Record: Identification speculative, but may have been the "B.S. Worthington" on roll of enlisted men on extra duty at Danville May-June 1862 as clerk for Capt T.S. Knox. No unit specified. Died- VMI man died at Amherst Court House July 18, 1862.
