Thomson's Comany) October 22, 1862 (October 24 in some records). Absent sick July-August 1863. Wounded in action Ocotber 16, 1863 near Catlett's Station. In hospital (Charlottesville). Transferred to Company E, 11th Va Cavalry April 9, 1864. Paroled at Staunton May 11, 1865. Post War Career: Lawyer; public official. Captain, Va National Guard. Mayor, Winchester, 1884-86, 1896-99.
