Military Record: Assistant Engineer with the War Department (probably civilian employed as topographical engineer). Applied for commission in Engineers April 7, 1863. Unofficial source says served as 1st Lt of Engineers. No further record found. Post War Career: ? Died- May 8, 1867. Unofficial source says died from lingering illness contracted during war.
