Biography & Genealogy:	Charles Thomas Jordan, Class of 1864-MS. Born- November 7, 1841. Matriculated from Smithfield, Va. At VMI 2 weeks. Military Career: Enlisted July 31, 1861 at Old Town Point for 1 year as Private, Company A, 19th Battaion Va Heavy Artillery (Capt J.F. Chalmer's Battery). Detailed October 30, 1861 for duty with Subsistence Office in Smithfield. So shown on all rolls through February 1863 (last on file for him). Discharged August 31, 1863. Post War Career: Cashier; accountant. Died- April 12, 1892 in Memphis, Tn.
