Marriage-never married. VMI record: Entered VMI Nov. 11, 1839 & graduated July 4, 1842, standing 12th of 16 graduates. Military record: none. Career: teacher; taught in Louisiana, at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA, and was tutor to his brother Henry's sons. He lived with his brother until his death on Dec. 21, 1894, Leesburg, VA.
