Father- Godfrey Staubly, who was killed on June 9, 1864 while defending Petersburg along with the Home Guard under command of F.H. Archer. Mother- Varina Staubly (maiden name unknown). No information on grandparents. No information on whether or not he was married or had children. VMI Record: Entered VMI- Aug. 1, 1872, Dropped from rolls Sept. 26, 1873. Careers: Teacher, Pharmacist and Chemist. Died before 1903.
