Married- Mary Virginia Patterson, daughter of James F. Patterson of Staunton, Va. Children- No information on whether or not there were children. VMI Record: Entered VMI- Aug. 11, 1860; Granted Leave of Absense July 2, 1861; Made Honorary Graduate of the Class of 1864 on July 2, 1869. Military Record: Drill Master for VMI Corps of Cadets stationed in Richmond in spring of 1861; Enlisted Mar 31, 1862 at Bath Alum Springs as Private in Co. G, 11th Va. Cavalry; in hospital in Richmond in Sept. 1864; no further war records found. Careers: School official in Pocohaontas Co. West Virginia; merchant; farmer; hotel laborer. Died- Jan. 6, 1919.
