Enlisted September 9, 1863 Flennington, NJ for 3 years as Private, Company E, 35th NJ ($100). Reported missing after march over Big Black River in Mississippi (Meridian Campaign) February 5, 1864. Died while Prisoner of War. Unofficial source says killed by bushwhackers. (Some records show missing/capture date February 6, 7, or 8th). Died- February 15, 1864.|
