Biography & Genealogy:	Edward Averett Rhodes, Class of 1864: Born- 1841 or 1842. Matriculated from Stockton, California. At VMI 1 year. Military Record: Drill Master, Richmond, spring 1861. Entered service January 22, 1862 as 2nd Lt, Company C, 11th North Carolina. Acting Adjutant fall 1862. Acting Assistant Adjutant General to Colonel (later Brig Gen) C. Leventhrope November 1862. Died- July 1, 1863 at Gettysburg.
