Elected 2nd Lt, Company E, 10th Tennessee October 2, 1862. To 1st Lt. Found unfit for field duty (diarrhea and dysentery) March 1863. Assigned to duty as regiment's Quartermaster. Assigned Enrolling Officer, Perry County, Alabbama, May 1864. Paroled May 15, 1865 at Marion, Al. Post War Career: Married Margaret Phillips 1881. Represented Davidson County in Tennessee House of Representatives 1889-91. US civil service; public official. Died- August 27, 1902 Ashwood, Tennessee.|
