Johnston's Company, Virginia Artillery (Albemarle County; Capt J.W. Wyatt's Battery). Captured in Appomattox Campaign. Held at Point Lookout, MD. Released on oath 23 June 1865. Post War Career: Farmer; Railroad Employee. Died- 1 January 1898 in Lynchburg, VA. Buried in Lexington, VA.
