Biography & Genealogy:	Randolph Russell Miller, Class of 1863: Born- c1842. Matriculated from Strasburg, Va. At VMI 2 years and 7 months. Military Record: Drill Master, Richmond spring 1861. Enlisted April 27, 1862 at Elk Run for 1 year as Private, Company A, 10th Va. Extended to 3 years. Roll for September-October 1862 shows as 3rd Lt. To 2nd Lt November 21, 1862. "Especially commended" for conduct at Chancellorsville where he was Killed in Action leading a company. Died- May 3, 1863.
