Biography & Genealogy:	George Simpson Price, Class of 1862: Born- 1841. Matriculated from Fincastle, Va. At VMI 1 year, 7 months. Military Record: Drill Master, Richmond spring 1861. Seems to have enlisted (December 10, 1862?) as Private, Capt E.F. Bowyer's Company Virginia Heavy Artilery (Botetourt). Transferred December 26, 1862 to Company C, 2nd Virginia Cavalry. Killed in action Hartswood Church. Died- February 26, 1863.
