Military Career: Drill Master, Richmond spring 1861. Appointed 2nd Lt, Infantry Reserve Army Confederate States July 16,1861. Ordered to Camp of Instruction at Richmond as Acting Assistant Adjutant General August 19, 1861. Ordered to Department Number 2 September 17, 1861 and to ordnance depot at Nashville, Tn October 23, 1861. Transferred to artillery spring 1862. On ordnance duty for remainder of war, first at Atlanta, Ga Arsenal and then as Chief Ordnance, Cavalry Corps, Army of Tennessee. To temporary 1st Lt September 24, 1862 (Date of rank May 24); to temporary Captain November 8, 1862. Paroled April 26, 1865. Post War Career: Catholic Jesuit priest. Died- ? |
