Transferred as Pvt to Company C cJune 1862. Wounded in action (leg) June 28, 1862 near York River Railroad. Absent wounded summer-fall 1862. To 1st Lt and Adjutant October 18, 1862. Signed parole at Ashland April 28, 1865. Post War Career: Farmer. Commonwealth's attorney. Represented King George, Richmond, Westmorland, Northumberland, and Lancaster counties in Va Senate 1891-94. Died: November 7, 1910 at Colonial Beach, Va.
