Biography & Genealogy:	John Heth, Class of 1861: Born- April 12, 1839. Matriculated from Richmond, Va. At VMI 3 years. Graduated 15th out of 17. Military Record: Drill Master, Richmond spring 1861. Appointed 2nd Lt, Company D, 1st Battalion May 1, 1861. Mortally wounded in action at First Kernstown, commanding company. Died- March 24, 1862.
